As the summer winds down many fall activities are starting to ramp up and Table Tennis is no exception. Many clubs are now finalizing their schedules for the season and getting ready to resume activities. All are looking forward to a new season and we are working on the tournament schedule for the season, as details are finalized everything will be placed on our website.

The Paradise Table Tennis Club is starting in early September so if you are in that region check it out and the Conception Bay North Club will be moving to Thursdays.

If interested in a challenge consider playing in one of the NLTTA sanctioned tournaments that are held throughout the season that runs from September to the following May. The first tournament of the season will be the MUN Open to be held on Saturday September 30 at the MUN Phys Ed building. NL Winter Games & Team NL
The 2024 NL Winter Games will be taking place this upcoming February/March in Gander. We are pleased to announce that Table Tennis is one of the participating sports and will be taking place during the second half of the games from Feb. 28 - Mar. 2, 2024.
Teams from each of the provincial regions will consist of 2 male and 2 female athletes age 17 and Under as of January 1, 2024 (2007 or younger) and 2 male and 2 female athletes age 15 and Under as of January 1, 2024 (2009 or younger). Table Tennis will consist of Team and Individual events over 3 days of competition. More info can be found at the NLTTA NL Winter Games page.
As many are aware last season saw a very competitive series of tournaments in which players were vying for points to earn a spot on Team NL that represented the province at the Atlantic Table Tennis Championships. This season should not be any different! For the criteria that is used to determine how players earn points to garner a roster spot on Team NL that will compete at the 2023 Atlantic Table Tennis Championships being held in New Brunswick in the spring of 2024 visit the Selection Points Criteria page.
Lets Get Moving
It is time to get the racquet out and get moving as many table tennis clubs are starting to get going. The Paradise Table Tennis Club is starting on September 11th so if you are in that region check it out. As an extra bonus Jeremy Lehr will be providing coaching during the first part of the Monday evening sessions (7-8:30). So come along and get some great coaching from the NL Canada Games coach. It will be open to the junior players as well as any adults that would be interested.
